The main components of the panchayat are: President: The head of the panchayat. They preside over meetings and supervise the overall functioning of the panchayat. Vice President: Takes charge in the absence of the President. Ward Members: Elected representatives from each ward in the panchayat. Standing Committees: Subcommittees formed for matters such as finance, development, welfare, health, and education to make decisions easier.
